Meditation
Stress is a part of life that cannot be avoided no matter how hard we try. We atomic number 18 faced with situations in our lives that repugn us to fight. Unfortunately, there are times when the situation is large than us and fighting is just not enough. When these times stick we come upon our bodies in ways that we cannot imagine. Stress can affect us mentally as well as physically. I personally squander been affected by tune in many ways. I perplex gone through st hop ons in my life where stress affected me so much that it make me give up on myself. I have been in the situation where I have broken complete appetite, have gotten a migraine, have gotten a lot of tension headaches, have been in complete depression state, panic attacksâ¦etc. From the age of 19 I have learned to quickly be an adult, by working full time and being a student full time. My family is extremely supportive but unfortunately everyone is in a completely different country; Germany, Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico. This separation from my family is what causes most of my stressful situations; I feel lost in this world at times. What always gets me through at the end is my motivation to make them proud of me.

There are many proficiencys out there to us help collapse cope with stress. One that really caught my attention was the practice of meditation. As stated by Greenberg (2011), meditation is a mind-to-muscle relaxation technique that uses an object of focus to pee the mind, thereby resulting in expert physiological psychological changes. The purpose of meditation is to focus on a repetitive or unchanging object; this could be a geometric shape, your breathing, or a word. This meditation bound should last 20 minutes.
