Self Concept
The concept of self differs depending on the situation that an individual is in (Myers, 2010). When one is in a social setting the self that is evident is different from when that same person is by them self or in a professional setting (Myers, 2010). Socially, a persons behavior will be dependent on who you are interacting with and the social setting. In a social setting an individual will be more jovial, spontaneous and outgoing, while in a professional setting an individual will be more reserved, confident and focused; when a person is alone hey will probably be more self reflecting and quiet.
