Over tilting is more than destructive to the ocean than any toxic pollution or the quality degrading of the ocean water. Because of fishermen like Pete, the ocean has disoriented over 90 percent of its big fish. I get a line that we as humans eat a lot of fish from the ocean but I dont guess that these fishermen understand how this is effecting the life cycle of the creatures of the ocean. According to the video, time could be running out; a 10 year claim by a fisheries biologist challenges the adage There be plenty of fish in the sea. (University of Phoenix, 2007). This statement is no protracted a true statement because the majority of the big fish have been pulled from the water within the last half century. I believe that the government should put a weight hold on the amount of fish that fishermen are pulling from the ocean. By doing this, it impart give the fish an opportunity to be open to breed and regenerate the population. Also by putting a weight limit on the amount of fish it will also give the smaller fish a put on the line to mature and have a chance to breed.

Another beginning to the overfishing problem is called Catch shares and this program is management program that bum probably reverse the trend and lead to abundance. According to environmental Defense Fund (2010) An authoritative study shows that well-designed catch shares see fish more abundant and fisheries more profitable for generations to come. This root word was encouraged by President Obama and the U.S. Congress and they also barrack with the conservation goals, increase profitability and foster an industry that provides jobs and victuals in an uncertain world.
