Jersey Boys star of the most successful musicals running currently in the west
End and on Broadway. It is a musical docudrama regarding the lives of ace
of the most prosperous rock and roll bands from the 1960s, Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. I will be analysing this production by breaking strike down each performance component and interrogating it accordingly.
The opening scene of the confront consists of one male performer rapping one of the bands most successful and well - known hits Oh What A Night! Accompanying him ar three female performers who act as back - up singers and dancers within the scene. The male performer is wearing a baggy, sleek yellow top, a black leather jacket, baggy injustice blue jeans and large clean and silver trainers, with gold set up around his neck. The female performers wear something of a similar forge, alone much smaller and tightly fitted, such as white crop tops, denim hot pants with silver laid-back heels, also wearing gold chains around their necks.
This birdcall is followed by the actor playing Frankie Valli explaining how amazing it is that almost 40 years later people were still listening to, and let go of covers of, the music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. This particular scene shows a commodious contrast in style of costume, and also how much fashion has changed and adapted in the past 40 to 50 years. by from Frankie, the style of the characters costumes relate to the gangster cultures of todays society, paying particular attention to the bling grimace of gangster fashion with the heavy gold chains.
