Meiosis

Meiosis is a type of cell division take for sexual reproduction and produces gametes or spores. During Meiosis I, DNA reproductive memory occurs and chromosomes line up on the equator as a homologic mates known as chromatids. Next the process of crossing over exchanges the homologous sister chromatids that form the paired DNA strands. This involves the separation of the DNA duplicate helix in angiotensin converting enzyme paternal and one parental chromatid and joining of the respective ends. At the end of meiosis I, separately chromosome is still composed of two chromatids held together by a particular DNA sequence called the centromere.
