Task 2
Project : Kite
instructor; Mr Groves
Design Brief; In this project I will be designing and building a kite which has to be able to fly as well as no effect of the kite
being larger than 66mm
Design Considerations;
- Size and process of the Kite : The size of my kite varys but each piece will be no longer than 66mm. The shape is to be a triangle
includeing it to liquidly fly throughout the air dynamicly. Although galore(postnominal) kites are this shape and is a commonly used. I externalise to make
mine different by adding in a let go of flap at the bottom this will allow it to fly straightly. This is battle arrayn below.
Key -
Black : Frame
Red : Supported Kite
Yellow : un back up Kite (Flap)
- Stability : The Kite will be supported by 3 pieces of woodwind which is light and strong stuck unitedly using PVA glue. to make sure the kite
doesnt rip it is cothered in a smooth layer of PVA glue to ready that its strong and thick [Although its heavier there isnt much difference.]
This will allow the kite to be sturdy and also give the leak a sense of direction making sure that it wont fly out of control.
- Safety and Protection : The safety for children when slightly the kite are simple but effictive.
Each pice of wood is sanded down to make sure that
splinters will non be given off as well as the corners to prevent a stabbing wound. The tissue paper which is the master(prenominal) part of the kite has been made
strong so that it cant be ripped and therefore swallowed. The kites protection involves secure glueing to prevent it falling apart. A smooth paste of glue
over the kite to make the overall competency stronger. 4 Points tied with string all come in concert so that it cant be pulled from one end causing a unwanted crash.
- Visual Presentation : The Kite is a categorization of red colours including; Orange, Red and a lite majestic/ Dark Red. When in flight this will hopefully show through
allowing a number of colours to show through in light making...If you want to get a full essay, nine it on our website: Orderessay
