The four functions ar as follows: planning, organization, leading, and controlling. Each function links to the next allowing management to lend oneself the tools that assist in team or employee mastery. Applying the four functions of management to real-life elaborate experiences can expose talents of those who have never been minded(p) the opportunity to attempt new challenges. Planning Function Planning is specifying the goals to be masterd and deciding in hand the appropriate actions needed to master those goals. (Snell, 2009). There are many actions that need to take holding when planning. Managers that develop the planning function phase need to be aware of current and future events in the company and with the economy. find the current financial state of the company allows managers to determine if they are able-bodied to add products, employees, provide raises, or layoff employees. During the planning phase, managers are also able to forecast what and how the company will achieve their goals.

Managers who are successful at planning are able to look at past, current, and future trends in the economy and find out for companies past mistakes, and turn that into a learning experience to suppurate off of. Another factor that can lead to the success of a business during the planning phase if to look at each part from the customer, employee, shareholder, and owners prospective. Knowing what the expectations are in advance provides a business with information of what works and doesnt work for a business, as well as peak propagation in business allowing the manager to make sure in that respect are enough employees in place.
