Importance of Human Resource Management
In every organization its employees be one of the most important assets. Organizations strive to maintain satisfy talented employees and they argon able to do this by having a talented Human Resource Management team. Human resourcefulness management is essential for organizations to work out efficiently and effectively. Those who serve as human resource managers are the liaison between employees and organizations because they insure the goal of every organization is to attract, motivate ad stay qualified employees. The primary function of HRM is to manage employees by ensuring that they are being effective and contributing to the organizations goals. To serve its primary function HRM has many different aspects: EEO and affirmative fulfil, human resources planning, recruitment, and selection, human resource development, compensation and benefits, safety and health, and employee and labor relations.
Of the different aspects of HRM, the EEO and affirmative action protects employees and gives individuals a fair chance. There are many things that contact individuals different, therefore there are many ways individuals so-and-so be discriminated against.
Gender, disabilities, race, and age are amongst discriminations that people are example with. The EEO and affirmative action protects people from these discriminations, and gives them equality n the workforce. tint employment opportunity has implications for almost every activity in HRM: hiring, recruiting, training, terminating, compensating¸ evaluating, planning, disciplining, and collective bargaining (Ivancevich pg. 65 2010).
